We believe that health and wellness require a balance between the mind, body and spirit. Ayurveda originated in India over 1,000 years ago, translating to life (ayur) knowledge (veda). This healing system focuses on understanding the universe through the exploration of energies, or doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These energies are believed to flow throughout the body, governing all physical and mental processes. Each are made out of five elements: space, air, fire, water and earth. When in balance, the doshas improve health, energy and overall mood. 

Common practices in Ayurvedic medicine include meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, oil pulling, herbal remedies and special diets. All encourage healing and interconnectivity between the doshas, enabling a clean and balanced life.
